Our seven-episode narrative podcast Caged, in development, cheekily references a Taylor Swift lyric, “You caged me and then you called me crazy” from “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me”. What is patriarchy afraid of? In Caged, we’re going to find the answers to so many questions inside that big one: When did patriarchy first emerge? Why has it lasted so long? When were the first abortion laws imposed? Why are we supposed to take our father’s last name, and then our husband’s? And when did God become a man? *Our small and mighty team has begun reporting Caged. But we need your support to keep going. Please consider supporting this exciting new work.
