The Aftermath

This reporting project will convey the scope and impact of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision by gathering in one place the stories of women impacted by abortion bans in the U.S. since August 2022. We will document maternal injury stemming from delayed miscarriage treatment; loss or diminishment of fertility; pain; suffering; and death. An interactive multimedia site and an underlying database, The Aftermath will be made available at no cost to our partner news organizations. *This project is in early-stage development and requires additional reporters and editors.
